As I was playing through the story mode on PSU expansion, an oddly familiar name was dropped.
The leader of a terrorist organization, named LuNtz.

Do you think that this was done on purpose?

Yeah, it was. I was on Youtube looking up videos of the interviews on Sega Genesis Collection yesterday or the day before. In one of them, one of the guys from Sega talks about how they reused some concepts and names from the original series for Universe. He mentioned Lutz specifically as something they used.

Hah! It's great to know that they haven't forgotten the old fanbase. =)
