Pets sleeping in bed ?

A new study is out in regards to Pets (specifically dogs) sleeping in the same bed with their owners. It says that people (especially women) tend to

sleep better beside their dog instead of cats as cats can be disruptive, etc.

Being a cat owner, I think I can understand that, lol.

However, my cats do not sleep in our bed, they have their own beds.

What about you, does your pet (dog or cat) sleep beside you in your bed, and if so, do you get a restful sleep?

I have a cat but he sleeps not IN the bed but only ON the bed ! Eventually sometimes when he feels a bit cold, he go inside between the two of us !
