Wow, that's cool, I was wondering what the actual titles were going to be. I'm definitely excited for these.

I'm not too impressed with the trailer, but I think that is just because the latter half of the book was more memorable for me. Most of the events I'm looking forward to seeing are probably in the second movie. That said, I'm pleased with the level of faithfulness to the original story that I'm seeing in the trailer. I really didn't expect so many of the dwarves to make the cut in the films.

Ah I'm so impatient to see this movie ! As a fan of the Lord of the Rings books and then movie...I'm eager to discover it ! The trailer seems very near to the book and that's very good news !

Found an interesting story on the upcoming "Hobbit" movie and how they are filming it:

http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.aspx?news=724538

I wonder how this will compare to the other LOTR's movies previously done...in the way they are filming it, I mean. I hope it doesn't change the look too very much.

Very interesting !!!!!!! Strange way of filming but why not ? Let's see the first videos, teasers and trailers about this high frame rate.

Using this higher frame rate may prevent the movie from being in some theaters, it sounds like. That's not going to help the profits, though I imagine the film will rake in a lot of money regardless. It has a big reputation to uphold, so I hope it is as good as the previous films regardless of what new technology they try out.

Confirmed news now that the upcoming "The Hobbit" movie will eventually be a triology"

http://movies.yahoo.com/news/peter-jack ... 53318.html

It makes perfect sense to me. The "Lord Of The Rings" movies were a trilogy, so why not the new "Hobbit" movie as well.

Very strange because the Hobbit-The book is far less voluminous compared to the trilogy of the Lord of The Rings !! But why not ?
