Pearl Harbor Day

Today is the 66th anniversary and rememberance of the day Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 07, 1941.

Remembering all those who lost their lives on this horrific day!

Yeah, this is what got the US in WW2. Bummer! It is a nice memorial that they built over one of the sunken ships that was attacked and destroyed, but that's kind of spooky too that those people are probably still buried there because they were never recovered or something like that.

USS Arizona blew up in one big KABOOM! Cuz they had all the weapons on it or something and when the plane smashed into it, it tore through ever ammo compartment or something like that, now my state will never float again! DX

I completely forgot that was coming up. It's terrible that it took such a devastating attack to get the US involved.

Yesterday (Dec. 7) was the anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day. I almost forgot to mention it this year because I've been so busy it almost skipped by but it is a day always worth remembering, especially for those who lost their lives on this day.

Yes it's worth remembering it, especially for me, as my passion is history so...to all who lost their lives and all their families.
