It's a satire/fake news site/tabloid. So not something to take seriously.

Ah crud. I could have sworn that it wasn't. I didn't see any indicators that it was at least. And I checked too to make sure and even imagined Robby & John's reactions if they had heard the news.

Years of being an internet skeptic has taught me to always check the "about us" page (or its equivalent) whenever I see a slightly outlandish story from a seemingly legit source I've never heard of. That's typically where a disclosure of satire/fake news lives. Stops me from falling for fake stories a lot of the time and is a good habit to get into. But some sites hide that disclosure well and it's easy to believe them. I've seen people fall for stories from the Onion.

Reminds me of the "Elvis is still alive" craze. Hey, I wanted it to be so true that I believed some of the wacky stories and sightings for years! Not so much anymore! However, they still pop up from time to time.

Yeah, "(Dead celebrity) seen in (location)" type headlines immediately set off my mental red flags to check the sources and such. I never take those at face value.
