Patrick McGoohan dies

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Thu Jan 15, '09, 6:18 pm

Actor Patrick McGoohan has died. He was 80. :tombstone: :rose:

He was in many films, including "Braveheart", "Scanners", and one of my favorites "The Three Lives Of Thomasina", and in many TV shows including "The Prisoner". He will be missed. Condolences to his family.

I know the face, but I wouldn't have known the name. He certainly looked different as he aged - the pictures of him as a young guy on IMDB look like a completely different person than the ones of him from later in life. He was a good actor.

I just happened to catch the very end of "Braveheart" last night on TV and saw Patrick as The King in the movie. Aye, he looked very different in his older days. I must admit, it was a shock to see him all of a sudden there knowing that he had passed away just recently. :(
