The new social media site Parler is now offline after having been suspended from Amazon Web Services :

The site may, or may not, be back online one day.

A lot of people have left the Facebook and Twitter sites for various reasons and have turned to Parler, which is now unavailable.

The problem from what I understand with Parler is that it was pretty much a limited moderated no man's land where a lot of bad thing could happen. Lot of the people who I know that went on it saw a lot of vile content.
