Today is Palm Sunday! :dove:

Palm Sunday is a celebration or a rememberance of the day almost 2000 years ago when Jesus Christ rode (on a donkey) into the city of Jerusalem, and the people there threw down palms from palm trees in honor of his arrival and made a path for him to ride on.

Palm Sunday is the beginning of the Easter holy week.

Although not an official holiday, Palm Sunday is celebrated and observed by many, many people.

Yesterday was Palm Sunday for this year of 2011. I really forgot all about it until the day was almost over. Anyway, I hope everyone had a peaceful day.

I completely overlooked that. The late schedule for Easter this year has thrown me completely off track in regard to the spring holidays this year.

I completely forgot all about it being Palm Sunday on today until I got to Church this morning. I don't know where my thoughts were at this week. Thinking on the upcoming Easter holiday I suppose. But still, I don't know how I could have forgotten Palm Sunday.
