 Post subject: Overcharges?

Recently, I read a statistic that claimed people who use credit or debit cards pay 15% more on average than those who pay with cash. Do you think this is accurate for your personal experience? I can't really say for myself, as I've never used plastic.

Based on my personal experience, no, but I can see the potential for why that would be the case. If you use a debit card and overcharge your bank account, you get hit with overcharge fees. On credit cards, if you don't pay your bill, you start having to pay for what you bought plus interest on the money borrowed, and that can add really quick.

I use cash as much as I possibly can.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if there are overcharges. Credit cards are wicked.

Cash is much better, less hassle, and cheaper too in the long run.
