Orakio strikes again! These have just arrived here, straight from Japan:

I'll keep the PSO books intact, but as usual, I'll scan the books related to the classic series that I haven's scanned already - that is, I'll tear the pages off in order to get good scans... and yes, that hurts A LOT :( They are:

- PS II Japanese hintbooks (2 volumes)
- PS III Japanese hintbooks (2 volumes, plus the extra hintbook with the blue cover)

As you know, the other two ("world of Phantasy Star" and the PS1 hintbook) are already available at http://gazetadealgol.com.br/diversos/downloads/.

The PSII hintbooks are fantastic. And the PSIII one (blue cover) has an amazing manga telling the initial story of PSIII. It's short, but it's great. There is a picture of it here:
http://gazetadealgol.com.br/blog/?p=618

It will take me a few days to start scanning it, but I'll do it soon and make the PDFs and JPG files available as usual.

A few notes:
- I'll keep the really-hi-res files with me, since they are ridiculously large. I'll convert them to JPG to make them available for download, but you'll still get quite good quality;
- These books are NEVER cut in a precise way, so it's next to impossible to get the pages really straight. Some may be slightly tilted, but not something very noticeable. I can't help it, as it would take me weeks to scan each book if I went about fixing this kind of thing.

Hope you like it!

The two smaller ones have a complete walkthrough, all generations included. The bigger one only covers Rhys' quest, but then it has that very special (albeit short) manga. Both have tables of items, monsters and stuff like that.

I guess I'll start scanning the books today. I'm almost done scanning the manual for the Mega Drive version of Starflight (a game I really love, and I've managed to get a copy of it recently). In any case, I took a few pictures of the PSII hintbook with my camera and sent them to my friend Yoz, you can check it out here:

Yoz is the guy who did that amazing job at capturing PS1 sprites:

Hey, Orakio, you could tell me when you are willing to commit one of those crimes to your bank account. I'd like to commit some crimes to my bank account as well (buy some of these rare books) and I could help your quest giving to you free-shipping for your items.

I didn't get it... could you elaborate on that?

And...

Yes, I've got the PSII hintbooks scanned! :)

A few notes:

- I'm not tearing the pages off these books anymore. Now I try to open them as much as possible in order to scan them. But I'm really not scared off ruining the book, so i think the scans are still quite good. Honestly, it's way better to see them on screen like this, two pages at once.

- The PDFs are of lower resolution now, and are abour 10 MB in size. They will look good on your monitor, and that's what I'm really trying to achieve with the PDFs. But in case you want to actually print this stuff, or edit the images, check out the...

- Hi-res images packaged for your convenience :) These are PNG files, and they are quite large. By "quite large" I mean ten packages 60 MB each, for each of these books. I've edited a few images to make they look better in the PDF file, but in the image packs the images are unedited.

Orakio, I love you! Give me the links!

Ok, here they come:

PDFs: http://bit.ly/a1JRKU
Image packs: http://bit.ly/9a6lvW
Online gallery: http://gazetadealgol.com.br/diversos/livros/start

I'm still uploading the image packs for volume II. And I've already started scanning the bigger PSIII book. As you know, there is a four-page manga in it, and... well, here is the manga:

Hope you like it!
