Last night, I cleaned my computer monitor with two paper towels folded against each other, and then I dried it with two paperl towels folded together, and now there's a little distorted spot at one part at the very bottom, and a series of colored vertical lines going through the screen from the distorted spot. Is there anyway I can fix this???

Maybe you can try to buy another computer monitor...

If you can, borrow a monitor from someone and try that on your system. This could be an issue in the computer, possibly with the video card, and not the monitor. It's probably unlikely, but it wouldn't hurt to check before you start thinking about replacing anything.

If it's a CRT monitor, try degaussing it. There should be an option in the monitor's built in buttons or menus if you can do this.

CRTs are the monitors with the big, bulky sections in the back like old TVs.
