Sorry if the necropost isnt allowed.

Ys has been an addiction since 1&2 on the TG-16 back in the early 90s.....the music = BLISS.

Ys Book 1&2 and Ys Origin are great games. I've heard good things about Oath in Felghana as well.

1&2 are always a blast for me....Origin is solid, but lower on my list because of lack of Adol. Oath is very solid as well, I cant wait for the Ys: Memories of Celceta PS4 update.

My first Ys title was Wanderer's from Ys III on the SNES. The gameplay was easy to pick up but I was hooked with the music! What was great is I was actually introduced to music from Ys Book 1, namely the Field and Palace of Destruction music back in my AOL days (DATED). I fell in love with those tracks even though I had no idea where they were from (the fool who recorded them never named the files!!!).

I managed to get a Turbo Duo and import it from Japan and went on a small shopping spree which included Ys. Needless to say I was hooked from there and I try my hardest to buy a game when it, and the funds, are available. I'll forever support Ys as I do with Phantasy Star (that's not a card game, but that's another story :D ).
