Simulation Theory

Postby Zio_Falz » Mon Nov 12, '18, 4:21 pm

I was thinking lately, give that mother brain is an AI, and the battle grid looks a lot like a Holodeck, much like the possible simulation of Arsenal Gear in Metal Gear Solid II, so could it be that Phantasy Star II is just a simulation?

A very strange battle grid.
Very, very strange enemies.
A 20 year old government agent?
Party members who just happen to show up at the right time?
Getting conveniently saved, in space, from an artificial satellite on a self-destruct and crash sequence?
We can go on... thoughts?

The idea of the world just being a computer simulation would require insane amounts of CPU power, far beyond what we have access to, I'd wager far beyond what even fictional settings like Phantasy Star have access to.

But since this is a fantasy setting... eh, I don't really think so.
I feel the way you would
