No more 24

There's lots to talk about on the smaller screen.

I'm also a big fan of 24. It's probably my favorite TV show. I didn't watch the first season, but after that I've been hooked. They HAVE to finish the story.

Just thought I'd ask what season of 24 does everyone like best so far? And, which President have you liked best or which do you think did the best job?

Having season up through the end of season six so far, I'd say season one or two was the best. Six was good, but not as good as the previous seasons. All of the first five are really great, I can only barely call one better than another.

As far as presidents, the first one, David Palmer, was the best. All the others seem to just be making one mistake after another.

Cast and crew saying goodbye to 24:

http://www.usatoday.com/life/television ... nale_N.htm

It's sad to say goodbye to 24, even though there are plans to make a big screen movie. Atleast we know that Jack can't die at the end of the tv series if there will be a big screen movie.....right?????

I think my favorite President was the guy played by Powers Boothe. I don't remember which number he was, though, I think he was in season 6. Powers Boothe is an awesome actor!!!!!!

The season finale and final show ever of " 24 " has been aired. Did anyone see the ending and if so, what did you think of the way it ended, etc.?

How do you think the ending of the tv show will tie into a big screen movie version of 24, if in any way it might?

Here's a link with a recap of the final episode of 24:

Good news for all "24" fans, it looks like filming will soon begin on a new big screen major movie :

It will be good to see Jack Bauer back in action again!!!

Anyone else looking forward to this movie??

It'll be interesting to see how they adapt the show's format, if nothing else. Cutting the adventure down from 24 hours to 2-3 hours won't provide as much opportunity for character development or surprise twists.

Bad news for fans of "24".

It appears that the movie has been put on hold yet again due to differences that have not been worked out yet between various parties regarding salaries and other costs.

http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.as ... fid=100055

This news stinks!!!

As popular as this TV series was, and still is, it would seem they would be in a hurry to get this movie made instead of all these postponements for whatever reason. If the movie is anywhere as popular as the TV series is, then they should be able to recoup whatever expenses they spend.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....on this news!!! :grumpy:

This is turning out to be another Ghostbusters 3. The people involved keep putting it off, disagreeing about one thing or another. If they don't get the act together, years will pass and everyone will lose interest.

Well, that's disappointing. I'm really not surprised everyone's quibbling over production costs and salaries. Though I don't have any source to quote here, it's been estimated that a movie these days has to make triple its budget in order to turn a profit. My guess is that they wouldn't be able to make this movie for less than $100mil.
