Gerald "Jerry" Lawson, Inventor of the Modern Game console has died at the age of 70.

He invented the console with cartridges. Thatb surely changed all the game industry.

The pioneers deserved more recognition.
A person only sees and hears what he wants to see and hear and disregards the rest.

I'd never heard of this fellow before today, which makes me rather sad. He invented a technology that was a major factor in the original boom in the game industry. Without his work, home gaming might have never taken off as a viable field. We owe him a huge debt.
