I feel like compared to last year, game releases this year were paltry at best. Last year there were some truly memorable titles that seemed more or less universally recognized as such (lookin' at you, Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us). This year...not really. I find it telling when one of the best things out for the year are TLoU DLC and TLoU Remastered.

Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

I just heard that Dragon Age: Inquisition won Game of the Year. Considering that I've played the game for 90 hours so far since getting it two weeks ago (and still have a looooong ways to go), I'm definitely not arguing with that! Yay Dragon Age!

Oh dear God... with the exception of Dragon Age inquisition which DOES look extremely awesome, I clearly do not identify with any of this. This is free publicity for people who do not need publicity, the "elite" catering to itself. Nope. No thanks.

Just look at the gaming team photos... ALL the gamer stereotypes are there. If this is what a gamer looks like, I'm not a gamer!

Where? Where? I just found the "trending gamer", and most looked normal ("most").

I wonder how much of this kind of gamer look would you say I have. :melodramatic:
