New Translations Coming

M.I.J.E.T., the translation team that released patches for four of the PSII Text Adventures about a year ago, has recently updated their site. It has a page announcing that they're working on the other four Text Adventures as well. Once those are done, all of the classic Phantasy Star games will finally be playable in English.

Yeah, you'll have to use a emulator. Patches for the four games already translated can be found in the Downloads section here or at M.I.J.E.T.. For the other four games, you'll need an emulator capable of playing Sega CD games. These four haven't been released individually, so you'll have to play them as part of the Game no Kanzume / Sega Games Can. I don't know if Kega Fusion will play them, but Gens will.

yup, KEGA Fusion plays them all just fine
all 8 Phantasy Star 2 Text Adventures are now available as seperate Genesis (J)[!] ROMs.

Ah, that's good. The last time I checked the last four hadn't been separated yet. Having to go through the Games Can to get them was a little annoying.

if i remember correctly...
MIJET cant patch SegaCDs, so he was waiting for them to be dumped to Genesis ROMs so he can work on them. the 2nd set of 4 ROMs were dumped a few months ago
(might wanna update your ROMset)and dont forget the 2 PS2TAs that were ported to PC. (Nei's & Anna's)

Yeah, apparently I definitely do need to update my collection in that area. Now M.I.J.E.T. has posted a noticed that the four text adventures previously available were beta versions with text differences. Now I'm wondering if the stories were significantly different in those.
