A strong (6.5) earthquake has struck in the US State of Nevada and was felt for many miles although there seems to be no injuries, etc. Supposedly the earthquake happened near the Area 51 site which has become famous in many sci-fi films and tv shows, etc.

It seems earthquake activity is increasing in many areas of the world.

Very odd location, referring to Nevada, for a earthquake of that level of intensity indeed. Tennessee not so much as there are significant fault lines running through parts of that state and there have been notable earthquakes recorded in the past.
