SNK has announced that it will start releasing Neo Geo titles on PSN on December 21 to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Neo Geo. The launch titles will include, among others, Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, Metal Slug, and The King of Fighters '94. ... o-station/

Personally, I think that there could've been many better launch titles, like King of Fighters '98 and/or 2002, Fatal Fury Special, or Garou: Mark of the Wolves, but I guess SNK decided to release the earlier titles, which isn't a bad thing, I guess.

Also, the titles will be downloadable for both PS3 and PSP, but unfortunately, the different versions must be purchased separately, unlike the PSP Minis. The PS3 versions will cost $8.99, while the PSP versions will cost $6.99. If I'm getting any of the games, it will be on PS3, since I already have a Neo Geo emulator for PSP.

Metal Slug and Samurai Shodown would be my picks as well as Magician Lord I loved that game. I must say it is a good idea SNK re-releasing their classics again. Even though I already own most of them on the SNK Arcade classics collection for my PS2.

Downloaded KOF 94 a few days ago. I wouldn't recommend it because the online is pretty bad. It makes me worry how KOF XIII's online will be. On the plus side, it does have some neat features like save states and saving replays. I'll still have to check out the other games at some point.

The PSP versions of the NeoGeo Station games were just released on PSN, along with the PS1 version of Metal Slug X (so I doubt that and KOF 99 will have NGS ports) as well as Rockman Complete Works 1 (a PS1 version of Megaman 1 with extra features). Not related to SNK, but I just had to mention it.

Almost forgot, SNK said that some XBLA games like KOF 2002UM might make it to PSN someday. ... n-network/

KOF '95 was rated by ESRB for PS3/PSP. Let's hope it's not the PS1 version though.

That's sweet I might pick this up for my PS3. I've only played KOF '95 on MAME, I was never interested in getting KOF '94 for my PS3 however because I already owned it on my SNK Arcade Classics Collection for my PS2.

I also wouldn't mind seeing SNK release the Neo Geo fighting version of Double Dragon. I've been playing that via MAME recently too.

KOF '95 and Baseball Stars 2 are on PSN now, along with some of SNK's older arcade games ... this-week/
