Impressionistic Neifirst

I recently got some oil pastels, which I've obviously never used before, but they're pretty fun. I don't normally work in color, so I'm trying that out. And I love Neifirst, as usual, so she was one of the first things I drew.

I like the color and the red really makes the picture stand out. Terrific details on her facial features, especially the eyes. I haven't seen very many drawings of Neifirst so this one was very enjoyable to see.

Very good ! Even for you "first time using oil pasdtel" it's very good You are right, Neifirst is a very interesting character : do you plan to paint/draw other characters (or things) with oil pastels ?

I definitely plan to keep working with these things, because they're very fun. I vaguely have in mind Dark Force, Lassic, and Nei herself, but I'm basically limited to whatever I try that doesn't come out looking like crap (mixing colors is just crazy to me, and it feels very bewildering).
