Might be a month late, but I must share this. Here in Boston, Dunkin Doughnuts is absolutely everywhere. I walk by one on my way to the T stop to get to work and there's another one near the T stop. And humorously, there's even a place with two DDs under one roof. It is North Station, and if you stand in the right spot, you can actually see both DDs under one roof.

Two under one roof? That's insane! It really reminds me how common Starbucks is.

I almost forgot, a few weeks ago I walked into Busken Bakery to buy a donut. It turns out that same day was their 84th (or 85th?) anniversary, and they were giving away free donuts!

I just bought a baker's dozen (13) doughnuts at the grocery store yesterday. They are the Krispy Kreme type and so good. I had no idea it was almost National Doughnut Day once again, but Now I can really celebrate this day by having a doughnut today. :)

What's your favorite type of doughnut..plain, chocolate, cinnamon, krispy kreme, or other?

I don't eat doughnuts anymore. I gave them up two years ago. When I did eat them, I didn't really care what kind they were, they were all good.

It's a few days early but just wanted to remind everyone ahead of time that this Friday, June 5, 2015 will be National Doughnut Day, if I remember correctly. Some places may be offering free doughnuts, etc., in some areas, but check your local areas to see what places may, or may not be, participating in these offers:

Some other places may have free doughnut deals on this day also and if anyone knows of any, feel free to post them in this thread.

Our town just recently got a Dunkin' Doughnuts so they will probably be very busy on Doughnut Day. :)

And, continuing on with our Poll here, what is your favorite type of doughnut?

Today is National Doughnut Day 2016! Enjoy those doughnuts if you try them today.

I have already had 2 plain doughnuts and now I'm feeling a bit sick! Should have went for the chocolate ones instead.
