National Cat Day

I never knew there was a national cat day. Well I guess it makes sense.......considering there is a "Talk like a Pirate" day.

National Cat Day is definitely a necessary holiday. We're lucky our cat overlords haven't forced us to set up temples to them. The ancient Egyptians understood this very well.

And, I have changed my avatar once again in honor of one of my favorite cats who we named Halloweenie as she was born close to Halloween one year. She was a beautiful calico cat with a mixture of several colors (black, yellow, orange, white, etc.). I thought it was very appropriate to have her pic as my avatar now given the special day today and the upcoming Halloween holiday this week also. Sadly she passed away several years ago but she is always in my heart.

Happy National Cat Day ! Abit late but big kisses to all the kitty cats and especially Myau, mine !
