Rare PS books in PDF!

Postby orakio_rob » Wed Jul 29, '09, 5:33 pm

Oh, God, I completely forgot about posting it here, I'm sorry!

I've bought all Phantasy Star Futabasha books and the "World of Phantasy Star" book and made nice PDFs out of them!

I've blogged about it here:

http://gazetadealgol.com.br/blog/?p=375
http://gazetadealgol.com.br/blog/?p=386

There are also imagepacks available, and in case anybody wants to use them on a website, feel free to do it, but credit Orakio Rob here, ok? :) You may find all relevant files here:

And there are more books coming! I've just bought this one:

No :(

But I have a japanese friend, and we're planning on translating some of this stuff into Portuguese (my native language, I'm from Brazil).

I know just how boring it is to scan something this large - thank you for taking the time to do so and sharing with the community! :proposetoast:

Oh my god... the SPEC issues! Been waiting years to see what was inside those. (Do you know if these issues contain the Lutz sidestory, too? Or just Outside Saga?)

Which reminds me- would you mind if I used your Compendium scans for a scanlation project? I'd started scanlating it for myself a while ago when I had a bunch of free time, but I figured since I started anyways, other fans might enjoy it too, sooo... ;)

These are issues 7, 7.5 and 8. The Lutz side story starts in issue 5, but it seems like it ends in issue 7.

The Outside Saga stretches across many issues of SPEC. These issues contain parts 3 and 4 (the last one to be published, but the story was meant to continue). There are also two chapters of "Third", a story by Yoshibon with a character named Nei Third. Now I must hunt for the missing issues...

That would be great, feel free to use them! Just add an "Orakio Rob was a good soul" stuff on your site, ok? :)
