Mortal Kombat 2021

"Mortal Kombat 2021", the new film rebooting the classic series of "Mortal Kombat" films, comes out on DVD and Blu Ray on Tuesday, July 13 (today)!

Has anyone seen this new film in theaters yet, and if so, would you recommend it? I am sure it probably is not as good as the original "Mortal Kombat" films but I wonder how good (or bad) it really is. I haven't decided whether to get a DVD copy or not.

I only saw the first 15 or 20 minutes of it which was an intro of a few characters and good lord I kick myself for not finishing it.

I eventually saw the 2021 movie. It was okay, not really anything special or memorable for me. They did a fairly decent attempt to have a story without relying on the earlier movies, I'll give them credit for that. But still, the original movie was better, IMO.

Ah the Movies made from Mortal Kombat ! Often not really great movies alas....
