My Photo Won a Contest

I wasn't exactly sure where to put this since it's a photo. Is it still considered art?

Anyway, late last year I won a photography contest in Car & Driver magazine. It's under my husband's name, but I took the picture. Oh well! I'm still excited it won. Here's the article:

Scroll down to "Best Beauty Shots" and my pic is the first one, the black and white one. What makes me particularly proud of my amateur photography skills is that the only editing that was done to the photo was to take out the sun visor my husband accidentally left down. The warning on the back of the visor could be seen through the windshield, so it was edited out. Everything else was left untouched.



I know it's not exactly new news, but I wanted to share since I'm getting to know most of you better now. Thanks for looking!

And boy was it hazy that day. I wasn't sure about the glare in the pic, but I guess Car & Driver didn't mind it. I stupidly didn't account for that when we got to the bridge. I had to find an angle to incorporate the glare in a way that seemed on purpose (like I know what I'm doing ).
