My Saturn suddenly plays imports without AR

Alright, here's a weird thing that happened today. This one import that I was playing on my Saturn today kept bringing me back to the Saturn interface, and I didn't know why, and thought it might be the Action Replay 4 in 1 cart, so I took it out of the cartridge slot on the Saturn and blew in it and out it back in, it wouldn't read the Action Replay or start the Action Replay, but the ga,e started without problems. That made me curious, so I took the AR out again, turned the machine back on, and it STILL played the import disc without the Action Replay. So it appears that now my Saturn can somehow mysteriously play imports without an Action Replay. That's really weird! Wonder what I could have done to cause that to happen.....

That is really strange. I very nearly bought an Action Replay a couple years back for my Saturn because I wanted to play a few imports, mainly Darius II, but never got around to it. I don't think I've ever heard of anything like this, but hey, it sounds like a good thing.

Yes, very odd and weird thing happenening ! I've never heard about it before ! I haven't turned on my Saturn for a very long time now...

Forgot all about this post. Well it turns out that it playing imports without an action replay (which I got working again) wasn't the case at all. The japanese released game I was playing (Race Drivin') seems to be a region free game. This makes me wonder if there are any other japanese-only Saturn games that are region free.
