Chasin’ the Wind

Okay, so recently I had beaten Phantasy Star III again to see how many achievements I could get on a leaderboard for another site I joined not too long ago, and I noticed that the one song is plays in places such as Skyhaven sounds very very similar to the song “Chasin’ the Wind” by Chicago. But this has to be a coincidence though, since this song didn’t come out until a year after PSIII’s japanese release. Still the similarities are uncanny:

Strange, as for me it's hard to see similarities...or more to hear them ! But maybe I'm a bit deaf ?

Ok ! So I'll try to hear them again ! So i've done it and I confirm what I've said before !
Not really any similarities for me or my girlfriend ! Maybe just the start of this Chasing the Wind ?

I can hear the resemblance, at least at the start.

I agree with the start but that's all and the ressemblance is very tight, even about the beginning !

The intro, sounds like one of the dungeon songs from PS1, but a bit more upbeat.
