Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

Ok, last night was the midnight release of Final Fantasy XIII. I already had the game paid off as a birthday present last month so all I had to do was go to the midnight release and pick up my game.. To my suprise it was alot more fun than I imagined.. The employees dressed up as the characters from the game.. There was karaoke, they sung the pokemon theme song for some reason, I joined in for the fun of it ^_^ lots of laughs... And then there was a contest at about 11:45pm.. The contest consisted of multiple Final Fantasy questions from the previous twelve games.. Which I was able to raise my hand fast enough and answer every single one of them..

Yea I know, I'm such a nerd.. Final Fantasy isn't all that great but when you grow up on a certain game, IE Phantasy Star ^_^, and many other games you learn alot about the games, even if you haven't played them in years... At the end of the contest I got a applause from all the customers and a bunch of congrats, the manager, dressed as Lightning came to me, and handed me a custom Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Xbox 360 Skin as my prize.. As well as when they said line up for the release, everyone said "Lets let the winner get his game first" so I was able to go to the front of the line and get the first copy of Final Fantasy XIII for the night.. All in all it was a very fun night for me =^..^=

Wow, it sounds like they made a real celebration of it! That store must have some pretty dedicated gamers as employees to go to such lengths. Congrats on winning and getting such a neat prize.

That sounds like such a great time, Kaloes! My local GameStop is not anywhere close to being that cool, though the employees are all really nice and helpful. Let us know what you think of the latest FF release, too. It's been a while since I've played any of them.

I have a lot of Gamestops near me, none of 'em are as cool as yours >.<
I've actually had quite a few problems with Gamestop, one of the more recent ones was back in June, I was trying to buy the Megaman Zero Collection and they didn't have just because nobody preordered it. So what if someone just walks in and wants it? I had to wait almost a week before I could finally buy it.

Congrats! Congrats! That is so cool! I don't remember the GameStop I live by ever doing anything that awesome. I'm glad you had fun!
