Oscar best picture nominees expanded

It sounds like they're just trying to pacify people. After so many years in which the biggest and some of the best films didn't even get nominated, a lot of people consider these awards to be a joke. Now whoever runs it can say "well, Great Famous Movie was nominated, it just wasn't better than Nobody's Even Heard of It." They aren't really changing anything.
