More Peanut Butter recalls

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Tue Feb 3, '09, 8:19 pm

There are many more peanut butter related products being recalled. Some stores are also recalling their brand items (cakes, cookies, etc.) which may be made with some of this peanut butter being recalled, etc.

Here are some more lists of items being recalled:

I just ate some peanut butter, and I feel fine. Is this a big deal or something? I don't watch TV, so I'm not sure.

LordShibas, YES, this is a big deal. Read some of the posts below in other threads about these recalls, if you have the time. If I remember correctly, there have been about 8 people who have DIED from this Salmonella outbreak so far. Many, many more people have become sick because of it.

Not all peanut butter products are affected by these recalls, etc. Peter Pan Peanut Butter is okay, I read, and so are some others listed in one of the links above.

The best thing to do is to be informed, so that is why we are keeping it updated here as much as possible. :)

They have traced some of the tainted peanut butter back to a plant in Georgia where it was made, I think. That's about all I know right now.
