EOTA Artwork - Rika

Ok, it's been done a week so it's about time I uploaded it. Might kindle a brief spark of interest here too.

Anyway, as the title implies Rika will be making a cameo appearance in a certain EOTA character's backstory. I'm not going to go giving anything else away. You'll have to wait until I've finished writing it and Aero has finished proofreading it. (chop chop Mr. DM )

So I've not been as quiet as you may think. I've got some new Claire art to add the finishing touches to, which will be appearing soon, before Flynn gets an update this week sometime. I've just been spending a bit of my time poring over artwork and tutorials to find ways to improve my CG colouring.

Heh, that's cute. Her hips need to be a bit wider, but otherwise it's a neat non-standard Rika artwork (she looks a little more appealing here than in her hunter outfit).

I think it looks terrific! Wow! She looks very attractive there and very confident with all those gadgets, etc. Time well spent, Xander!

Can hardly wait to see Claire and Flynn.

Anyhow, Xan, despite the fact I don't like Rika it's interesting that you've decided to include her in an EOTA backstory. And the drawing's nice too. Though as H-man said, her hips do need to be wider.

Well it's a 3/4 view. Her hips are going to appear to be a bit narrow due to perspective. Plus I'm still working on perfecting that angle.

I included her because I'm terrible at coming up with characters, ever mind trying to make them a little more central, so why not cameo an established character? As for confidence: Well as a hacker she is. That's how I'm trying to write her up when she's in action. Though her personality is going to be a bit on the klutzy side which shouldn't be too hard given that, in the story, she's a civilian in a military situation. Plus it allows for just a smattering of humour.

As I told Xan, just so we're clear: this is not the PS4 Rika. She was not created with Nei's DNA, she's not been raised by SEED and blahblahblah.

She's just some newman who happens to have the same name and looks like that PS4 character. I can't deny a fanboy's request, but I'm still in charge of global events.

So, (and I feel embarrassed to say this, but what the heck) are Flynn and Rika and item (or were they)?

Umm no. She's just a support character in his latest backstory. You'll see once I get it proofread and finished. Flynn and Claire are the only item in any of his story.

Yeah and Rika dies in a horrible accident in this mission anyways.
