Michael Nesmith of the pop rock group "The Monkees" has died. He was 78. The Monkees played their last concert earlier this year. Another member of the group, lead singer Davy Jones died several years ago.

I forgot to mention above that Monkees member Peter Tork also passed away awhile back.

The only living member of The Monkees as of now is Mickey Dolenz.
