It'd be great if Capcom purchased it. Since Capcom did an awesome job with the Marvel Universe I can only imagine how great MK would be. Sure some of the moves would be the same but at least it'd be a bit easier to pull off instead of doing something like fwd, back fwd, up fwd, down to do a silly 4 hit combo[I'm over exaggerating of course].

I pity whoever picks up the MK series. It has lost all credibility. Capcom would be embarrassing themselves by picking it up.

I agree with Lordshibas MOrtal Kombat has lost its credibility. Also myself being a hardcore fighting game fan, I just don't see Mortal Kombat ever sharing the spot light with other fighting games, like Street Fighter, Tekken or The King of Fighters. If MK ever hopes to get back on the top dog list it will need to make some very big changes all over.
