I've beaten Super Metroid (awesome) the first Prime game (awesome) and am in the middle of the second Prime game, and I have the third one. I tend to play it in spurts for a week, then put it down, then go back. Dunno why. It's an 'immersion' game, so I don't play it if I don't feel like letting it fully immerse me.

As for Other M...I'll probably get it at some point, but not until I have disposable income and there are cheaper used copies available.
Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

I've got pretty much the same story as CW here. I started Prime 2, but put it aside because I wasn't feeling the experience. Playing it was feeling like a chore, which is a very bad thing for a game. I played a little of Prime 3, which felt better to me, but got distracted with other stuff.

I hope to get Other M, especially since it's a direct sequel to Super Metroid, which was great. Can't afford it right now, though, so I'll wait for used copies to start circulating at reduced prices.

I actually wouldn’t mind picking this game up now that I own a Wii. The last Metroid game I completed was Fusion on my GBA like six years ago. But I’m not too eager to pay $98.00 at the moment for just the one game.

I tried this game. While it is not as visually engrossing as the Prime series, it brings awesome storytelling to the table.

I won't say much so I won't spoil anything but: if you are a Metroid fan as I am, it is worth it.
