Not sure if this has been discussed anywhere here before or not, but what type of games do you play mostly, retro games or the newer games?
For the sake of this thread, Retro games may consist of games 5 years old or older.

I end up playing a lot of retro games, but 2D action games aren't exactly getting a lot of AAA releases.
I'm a huge fan of Treasure and the kinds of games they make.

Now it's clear : retro games mainly ! But I continue to play "new games" only on my beloved 3DS so I don't relly know if it can be considered retro or new !

I might have to dispute that definition of retro games because by it, pretty soon, games that released when the PS4 and Xbox One came out as part of the consoles' launch would be considered retro. 
I play a mix, and honestly, my mood tends to bounce back and forth. Lately it has been older releases that either I never got to, or revisiting beloved classics. Like now all I'm really playing is Final Fantasy VII on PS4. Other retro favorites include the Mother series (duh), Spyro, Ratchet and Clank, Okami (kind of feels weird to call those retro, TBH) and I guess obviously Final Fantasy VII.

Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation
