Football fans who turned out to see Notre Dame versus Clemson in the annual Cotton Bowl game got an unexpected surprise when an Eagle who was supposed to fly around and circle the stadium instead decided to fly right into the crowd and wound up landing on a few of the people:

Notre Dame finally wound up losing the football game to Clemson, but those Notre Dame fans can say they had a day to remember after all this.

Yeah, I was a bit worried about that as most people handling a Eagle use some kind of special glove to hold them, I think. Or is that a Hawk? Anyway, it seems to have worked out alright.
