Marvel vs. Capcom 3

So we now got: Felicia, Deadpool, Dante and Captain America confirmed as well. Not bad.

No Nero, and no Vergil. Hooray!

They look really impressive. I wish the videos showcased more than three of the Capcom characters.

I think Spider-man is one of the photographers in the background of the stage with the Spidey balloon. One of them moves and jumps a lot like him, plus his civilian job is traditionally a photographer. Could it be that they're going to remove him from the playable roster?

More characters have been announced. From Marvel, there's Dr. Doom and Super Skrull. From Capcom, Chun-Li and Trish. Here's a couple of new game play videos that show them off:

Another update today! According to Kotaku, Marvel leaked two more characters in an image gallery this morning. The images have been removed from Marvel's site, but Kotaku has copies of them up at the link below. The characters are Marvel's Thor, who is also getting a movie next year, and Capcom's Amaterasu from Okami.

I know several of us were hoping for Amaterasu. Looks like we got our wish on this one. Apparently she can use several of the weapons from Okami during the game.

I’m actually pretty excited now seeing Amaterasu in this game. Õkami was a great game so it’s going to be fun using her again, especially battling against other fighting game tyrants. Also good to see Dr. Doom returning.

Woo-hoo Amaterasu! Too bad I don't own the consoles for this game...but if I ever do, I may go for this game after all if Ammy is in it.

Just another update on MVC3. This is a gameplay video showing off Dormammu, I’ve never heard of the guy before but he’s definitely a character I want to try out. If Akuma doesn’t make it into this game (I don’t’ think he will now ) I can be certain he’ll be my main (I’m a sucker for the evil ones ). There was a bit of a rumor going around that he was main villain for the game as well.



Also Viewtiful Joe was confirmed as well on the Capcom side.

Maybe they'll hold Akuma back as a secret character. I doubt they'll announce everyone before the game comes out. Dormammu is an odd choice for a fighting game, but then MvC3 is using a lot of Marvel characters I wouldn't have expected to see. It should make for some really interesting twists.
