Monday, January 17th is the official day to celebrate the Rev. Martin Luther King's birthday in this year of 2022! Many events will also be taking place during this weekend before Monday.

As with other Federally observed holidays, there will be no mail deliveries from the USPS (United States Postal Service), banks and some other businesses will be closed, etc.

Sunday, January 15, 2023 is the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday and the official day will be observed on Monday, January 16 (third Monday of January) with Federal Offices and other places of work and business closed on that day.

Rev. King would have been 94 years young today.

Watched a little of the King birthday ceremony. President Biden was there along with Church Pastor and US Senator Warnock.

Some places closed on today (Monday) but it is still not a paid holiday off for many people.
