Yep, sounds like it. I guess kangaroos are pretty rare in that area, so it's lucky the guy noticed it.

I take my hat off to this chap; how wonderful that he reached out and helped another living creature. Thanks for posting this, Silver. :) It reminded me of a story I read ages ago, in which the roles were reversed and a partially blind kangaroo saved a man's life.
