So why exactly can Lyle change into a dragon? Any theories?
Does he use authentic "magic" that ceased to exist, much like Rune in PSIV? If so, is Lyle considered an Esper? Any theories?

Ozaki said that Lyle's shapeshifting powers are something that's unique to him, but she does describe it as something of a magical process.
