Lou Dobbs leaves CNN

There's lots to talk about on the smaller screen.

Lou Dobbs leaves CNN

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Thu Nov 12, '09, 6:24 pm

Lou Dobbs has been a news anchor at CNN for a very long time, but I just read that he is leaving his job there:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33868717/ns ... /gt1=43001

What does everyone think of Mr. Dobbs in the job he has been doing so far as a news anchor?

So, how do you think his leaving will affect CNN?

Do you think he will wind up on another news network somewhere?

I think it is absolutely horrible what has been happening to his family and hope that stops as that is going to far.

I think the only thing I will miss about Lou Dobbs is Keith Olbermann's impression of him. But I think he'll pop up again somewhere fairly shortly.

Honestly, I don't know anything about the guy or why it would be a big deal. Maybe he'll go to Fox News?

Preach on sistah Wolf!

I'll agree recent actions partaken against his family have crossed that line and that those responsible should be punished.

However, as far as his commentating prowess...good riddance. He was about as bad to listen as Beck, but at times...worse.

Good riddance to racist rubbish. He'll fit in perfectly with Fox news.

I saw something online about Dobbs possibly making a run for the White House or some office in Washington.

That would be interesting.

Interesting in the sense a train wreck that kills a few people is.
