Add another item to the list of bans on various types of foods, sodas, and other junk foods.

Now Disney will ban junk food ads on their TV networks:

I have to wonder if this strategy will really work. If people want these types of foods and drinks, they will probably get them regardless of these bans.

Anyone think the bans will work?

It will probably have some impact. If kids don't see the commercials for these foods, they may not think of them as much. At the end of the video, one of those guys said Disney is going to be making their own food product line in a few months. This could just be a way to kick the competition off the channel in favor of advertising products that drive profits more directly into Disney.

No TV. Until my son is 20. He should be then old enough not to want one.
