Jules Bass has died. He was 87.

Bass and Rankin were responsible for many animations including holiday favorites "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer", "Frosty The Snowman", "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town", etc.

Bass also was a producer of other animations "Thundercats", "The Hobbit", "The Return Of The King", "The Jackson Five", etc. He also worked on "SilverHawks".

He will be missed.

Big part of my childhood
All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.
