"Star Trek" TV prop

There's lots to talk about on the smaller screen.

"Star Trek" TV prop

A prop from the original "Star Trek" TV series has sold and made quite a bundle:

That brings back a lot of memories, especially for any "Star Trek" fan. Anyone remember any scenes in which this prop may have been used on the show??

Wow, the poor old Galileo has seen better days, hasn't it? I wouldn't have recognized it in these pictures if the page didn't say what it was:

I hope whoever bought it is able to complete a restoration. This piece of TV history surely needs it!

Hard to believe it is in that bad shape and hasn't been taken care of all these years. That item needs to be in a museum somewhere, imho.

IMHO too, a museum would be the best location for it. Nice piece of history.

That's a great refurb, and quite the dedicated Trekkie to take on the project.
