Dick Clark r.i.p.

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Thu Apr 19, '12, 10:25 am

Entertainer Dick Clark has passed away at the age of 82 following a heart attack. :tombstone: :rose:

Clark hosted several TV programs over the years including "American Bandstand", "Bloopers and Practical Jokes", "$25,000 Pyramind", and "Rockin' New Years' Eve". He was an icon in the entertainment business and will be sorely missed. Condolences to his family.

Few people were as prominent in television as Dick Clark, that's for sure. When I was growing up, he was also over the place. Music shows like Bandstand were never my cup of tea, but I enjoyed the Bloopers show a lot. His special touch has been sorely missed over the last few years as he left the business. Watching New Years events on TV will never be the same for me now.
