Anyone have any Comments or Opinions on The Statue, how it was given as a gift to the US from France, how it has grown to symbolize the "American Dream", or any other matters regarding Lady Liberty?

I've never been, but I would like to go some day. I'm not sure if I could make it up all the stairs, though.
