The Statue Of Liberty is celebrating her 125th birthday of being in the US. The Statue Of Liberty was a gift to the US from France. Here's more interesting facts on this famous iconic symbol of freedom, etc.:

Happy Birthday, Lady Liberty! :cake:

How many here have actually seen the Statue Of Liberty in person?

What were your feelings as you viewed this historic symbol?

Anyone have any Comments or Opinions on The Statue, how it was given as a gift to the US from France, how it has grown to symbolize the "American Dream", or any other matters regarding Lady Liberty?

I've never been, but I would like to go some day. I'm not sure if I could make it up all the stairs, though.
