By now, most of you have probably heard of Kinect, Microsoft's upcoming take on motion controls. It turns out that some of the technology in Kinect is not going to be limited to game consoles. It's [url=http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/23/kinect-tech-destined-for-tv-embedded-greatness-in-2011-htpc-int/:*]coming in computers and TVs[/url:*] as well. Perhaps in a few years TV remote controls will be replaced by motion sensors that allow us to become the remote. What do you think of this application of the Kinect technology?

Honestly, it's an interesting idea, but I don't think it will tie over well with many. I think I'll just stick to my good old universal remote. It's been good to me for the past 7 years. =P
