A devastating fire is still burning in California. Several people have lost their lives and many homes and other places have been destroyed, including a movie set where some TV westerns and other films were made:

The fire in California has finally been contained. So much damage done and so many lives lost and so many others still missing. It has been totally devastating. So many hero firefighters and others who helped during this crisis. Maybe now some of them can get some rest. A lot of work left to be done though.

Well, it is another year (2019) and fires are burning again in California! Many residents have had to evacuate in several areas. Homes have been lost and so much destruction. Praying for those in the paths of these fires and those who are trying to fight and contain them.

I saw on the news the other night where actor Arnold Schwarzenegger (sp?) had had to evacuate from his home. He was okay.

The fires in California have been extremely cruel this summer season with thousands of acres burned and destroyed. The fires continue to burn currently.

Update on the fires in California and other cities in the USA. The fires are still raging and have caused numerous deaths and destruction. Atleast 35 people have died and no count of how many possible animals may have lost their lives due to the fires, smoke, etc. Some families have lost their homes and everything they own. It is a very sad situation. Prayers for everyone in that area and that the fires may stop soon. They could really use some rain out there.
