Online or Offline?

Postby Atlinsmere » Thu Nov 13, '08, 7:04 pm

Which do you prefer? Going online, or staying offline? Perhaps both?

As for me, I have to say I'm more of an offline person myself at the time being. Eventually once I feel like it, I'm sure I'll play online.

Its fun online, the game gets kinda repetative after awhile though. TTF's are the big thing at the beginning then when you get up there in levels then you start going to the other Episodes.

Mostly offline... it does get repetitive, but you don't have to worry about connections breaking or stuff like that.

I enjoy playing online, as it's fun with friends. That, and I've never played the offline mode...

I only ever played offline. Mine was on the dreamcast and I never got it hooked up to the internet. Besides that, I'm the type of person who dislikes having to hang out with others just to get ahead in a game. I'm not too much of a people person and I like charging in head first and only having to worry about myself, not others. ..Wow, that sounded cold didn't it? o.O

That's not cold E-Neko. I generally feel the same way! I typically play a warrior type of character online and usually play by myself [I do on PSU anyway]. I have found that if you have the right person then it can be a fun experience! Back when PSO came out on the DC my best friend and I would call each other on the phone and then go online so we could strategize with one another instead of trying to type online. It really came in handy when he and I would get involved with parties and we would generally lead the way. IF you ever decide to jump online with PSU, let me know and we can make it a better experience for ya :)

I would, I wanted to, but then I played the game and had an immediate distaste for it. But then again, I was playing the story too. I just found the characters to be bland and annoying, and the story to be the same way. But what upset me most was getting five minutes of game play then having to sit through ending and opening credits like it was an anime. I still have the game, but I haven't played it since. But...to be fair I'm also bais XD

I've only played with another person once and that was during Fable II. It was fun, but then he got upset because the name I use is Daitsku Han which is obviously a male name. I used a kiss expression on him and that's when I was removed from his game.

Well I have Fable II! We should totally get online sometime. It'd be great to play it with someone else[seeing as I haven't gone online with it yet].
