Comic Book Inheritance

Sometimes it pays to be nice to your relatives.

Read this story about some guys who received some comic books as an inheritance from an elderly relative, and WOW, those comics could be worth millions:

The link seems broken or the news story has been removed now. It's a shame, because I was curious to see what sort of books they found.

Hmm, that's strange, I don't know what happened to the story at the link I gave.

Oh well, I've searched around online and found the same story at other places though. It seems also that the auction for the comics has already taken place on Wednesday (yesterday) and the comics sold for a lot of money as was expected to happen.

That does look like a pretty good find. I get the impression from the pictures that the comics might not have been in the best of shape. A 3.0 grade is pretty low... but then, these are comics from circa 1940, so simply still existing is better than most copies have fared. None of the individual issues are going to be bringing those million dollar prices, but they'll all still fetch a very pretty penny.
